Dymo 5XL
Looking for labels for the Dymo 5XL LabelWriter? It's good to know that this printer uses a new recognition system (chip technology). As a result, currently only original labels from Dymo can be used reliably. We don't sell original Dymo labels. But we have good news! Want to print with our compatible Dymo labels ? Then you can choose the following printer: Aimo 6XL.
Buy labels for the Dymo LabelWriter 5XL
Unlike earlier Dymo printers, the Dymo LabelWriter 5XL (and the 550) does not accept compatible labels by default. Although chip-enabled compatible labels were developed in the past, in practice many printers do not recognize them. That's why compatible labels for the Dymo 550 and Dymo 5XL printers are no longer available from us.
To avoid issues such as error messages, interruptions, or unrecognized rolls, use only original Dymo labels in these printers.Β
Why use only original labels?
The Dymo 550 and 5XL series use an advanced chip in the label rolls. The printer checks this chip to verify the type and authenticity of the labels. In practice, this means:
- Compatible labels don't work in the 550 and 5XL printers
- Firmware updates may further limit compatibility
- Only original Dymo labels offer complete assurance and reliability
Our advice
Want to print hassle-free with a Dymo 5XL? Then for now, you're limited to original labels from Dymo.
Would you rather save on label costs and use affordable compatible labels? Then it's a good idea to choose an alternative printer, namely the Aimo 6XL. These printers are specially designed for use with compatible Dymo labels, without the limitations of chip recognition.
Here are the benefits:
- significantly lower label costs
- a wide selection of label types
- reliable operation without chip restrictions
That way, you can choose the solution that best suits your needs and budget.
